In 2019, she undertook her BASI® Pilates Comprehensive Global Certification (500 hours). In 2022, Vanessa further expanded her expertise completing the BASI® Pre and Postnatal Pilates certification.
Vanessa's teaching style is characterized by its attention to detail and anatomical focus ccompanied by high-energy and light-hearted approach. Vanessa seeks to create an atmosphere where clients feel empowered to explore movement with curiosity and precision.
Alongside Pilates, starting in 2016 Vanessa has completed a 1000 hours of anatomy specific Yoga Teacher training.

Jenna Wagstaffe
CERTIFIED BASI PILATES INSTRUCTOR
jenna@ouenpilates.comJenna set up the first reformer studio in Jersey in 2017, with the vision of a vibrant movement space that placed importance on client safety working across all bodies and needs. The result was Ouen Pilates, which she poured her heart into for 7 years, until her young family arrived and stole her heart away!
Passing the studio reins to the caring hands of her friend and long-time colleague, Vanessa, has been the biggest honour and she will continue to teach as part of the instructor team.
Jenna instructs with a muscular focus, applying kinesiology knowledge to correct, rebalance and optimise movement. She loves seeing changes in her clients ability and mindset. Jenna is BASI® Pilates Comprehensive Global Certified, a Pre/Post Natal & Diastasis Recti specialist, holds 300 hours of Yoga teacher training and 1000 hours of Pilates training & further education.
Jenna will be on maternity leave from June 2024.

Ciara Millar

ciara@ouenpilates.comCiara was a client and friend of Ouen Pilates for a number of years. After becoming a mum to her little boy, she decided to reconsider her 22 year career in Physical Education and embark on becoming a Pilates Instructor. She joinined the studio as a trainee and undertook her BASI® Pilates Global Comprehensive Certification (500 hours) in 2022, passing her exams in April 2023.
Ciara’s style is precise, detailed and focuses on that slow burn. Ciara’s instructing ensures you don’t rush exercises, finding the deep and important muscle work that correct pilates technique brings.

Cayley Olwage
APPI REFORMER PILATES lNSTRUCTOR | CERTIFIED BASI MAT PILATES INSTRUCTOR
cayley@ouenpilates.comOriginally from South Africa Cayley moved to Jersey over 15 years ago and is proud to call this beautiful island her home. Cayley qualified as a Pilates Mat instructor with BASI in August 2020 and has since completed specialised training in Injuries and pathologies as well as being Pre/Postnatal qualified.
Cayley’s first reformer experience was with Ouen Pilates and she feels honoured to join the Ouen Instructor team as she completes her Reformer training.
Cayley’s classes consist of a full body approach, focusing on the foundational Pilates principles. Props and aids are used and encouraged in her classes but should never take away from the intention of the original repertoire and starting each movement from our powerhouse. Even the most fundamental movement can feel different each time you practice if the mind and body are fully connected!

Lisa's journey into the world of fitness and movement began early, ignited by her passion for classical and jazz dance at just six years old. This early love for movement paved the way for a dedicated career path in fitness. Armed with a Sport Science degree, Lisa embarked on a 15 year journey as a fitness Instructor aod gym owner.
Lisa gained her BASI Comprehensive Pilates instructor certification in 2020, along with specialised training in BASI's Injuries & Pathologies program.
Lisa’s approach is marked by a blend of precision and control, Lisa is renowned for her ability to deliver that sought-after "Pilates burn" while maintaining a keen focus on form and technique, ensuring her clients achieve both strength and grace in their practice.
